I already had 3 sets of tire snow chains, 2 of the actual "chain" type and one of the "cable" type. Going to a possible tire chains needed road at Yosemite, I tried all 3 and NONE fit the Dormy's phat tires!

At least, while trying I found out that with the chain type I would have a serious "clearance" issue between the chains and my already "pushed out" fenders! :-/

The cable type, while it didn't fit either, it did seem to give me just enough clearance there. So I ended getting a brand new set that can definitely fit the phat tires, in my case 215-65-15s.

Yowie that is close! Chains (even the cable ones) have a bad habit of flopping around a bit.
Keep your ears open while driving.

Well, it's not my first rodeo for sure, but thanks! The "tensioners" I got feel pretty tight though.

Those are the same ones I have for my truck.
I was hoping they would fit my bus, way to large.
I picked up the old chain type.
I really hope the roads will be clear!!
