He comes into the restaurant often, I'm not positive if he's working or not? I know the guys from Peanuts VW shop are friends with him and he was working out of there a while back. I can call them tomorrow and report back.

A while back he was seriously ill. Don't know if he is doing trans work or not.

Q. Is Pat of ITS still rebuilding transaxles? :???:
No, but he still helps me. Rumor has it that he still helps some Porsche transaxle place in Chula Vista, occasionally. He passed his main torch to a Jim Bennett in Santee, California. I spoke with Jim on the phone recently but can't tell you much more than that. Pat still owns the legal name ITS and still uses it on his answering machine.

Pat stops in the restaurant every so often and always asks for me to say hello. He's having trouble with his feet and it's hard for him to get around anymore.

Pat is a great guy. Years ago, like more then 18, when I bought my camper on Adams Ave,
the guy that bought it from said it needs a trans rebuild, that guy was Pat, bought it anyway.
So I drove it for about 30 days, trans blew, took it to Pat, he rebuild this trans like 12yrs earlier.
Hooked me up and I am still cruising on a regular basis, 18 years +,
My bus with Pat's trans rebuild is awesome!.
