I saw a 62 double cab on Shelter Island last night. Dark green, safari's, roof rack and freshly replaced wheels wells. Dan, was that yours?

And thank goodness that bus has THOSE wheel wells instead of the BEFORE ones. How embarrassing to be seen at the beach with the BEFORES.

On Shelter Island at night, Fish? A concert, a quiet dinner, perhaps? Or are you buying a yacht?

Yes, a concert. The Moody Blues at Humphery's. Dinner on Shelter Island? No, not that night. Buying a yacht? Never and here's why. Once while crewing with my brother (then a Charter skipper) on a large rented sailing yacht, I asked the rich gentleman who hired us and the boat the secret to his success. He told me to follow the 3 "F"s. If it Fly's, Floats or F***s ....... rent it. I've been successful with two of the three.

And then The Moody Blues came to play the Orange County Fair on Wednesday! Saw them many times in their heyday. How was it? Worth the price of admission?

hee hee on the 3 "F's. Even to a girl.

I'm glad you were not offended. It's a true story. Now here's my review of the Moody Blues. I'm a loooooong time fan, but this was my first time seeing them. This was also there first stop on the 09 tour. The big screen needed to be in focus. No I didn't wear my glasses, but others with glasses said it was out of focus too. They were off beat sometimes. They can no longer hit the high vocals so it would sound like the microphones were turned off and on. Graeme (68) tried to toss his drum sticks in the air a few times, but would miss and drop one. Then he would have to get off his chair to pick it up. The key boardist had apple lap tops on the key boards. I don't know why. Maybe to read the sheet music. LOL There was a really cute girl playing the flute and back up singing. Justin played and sang great. Except the for the high vocal notes. John did a great job too. This was my first rock concert with an intermission. The guys looked old and the audience looked even older. I know this sounds negative, but it was a good concert. I enjoyed it very much. Was it worth the 70 dollars per seat? Have you ever been to Humphrey's? Yes. It was worth it. I can hardly wait until Sept. 28th.

Now who's bus was that?

I saw a blue (bottom) and white (top) panel this morning on Santa Fe in O'side heading south from Hwy 76. It was heading West on Hwy 76. The guy would not look over when I pulled up next to him. :???: I was going to flag him down and pimp FF15. No go.
