Hopefully I'll be able to delete them before even I get to see them! :yuck:

You will know when they penetrate your eyes!

Once seen you can not un-see! Marked for life.
That makes me

So I took the speedometer out hoping to send it off to to be refurbished. Not having any luck contacting Corona Ryan, I did a local search and found a place called Foreign Speedo located near Dan in North Park. I paid them a visit on Friday and ended up leaving it with them. They quoted me $120 plus parts. I got the call today that it was ready, wow it's only been a couple days. I didn't want it to be repainted inside if it didn't need it, just cleaned up and in working order. They did exactly what I asked for and it came out perfect!

I highly recommend them!!

Sorry, I still know how to post pics :???:

It is amazing what the removal of 50+ years of dirt will do.

WOW!

That is indeed awesome! However, if I ever get mine done I'd rather keep the odometer at the same mileage instead of "zero-ing" it.

I'm using the same speedo from my previous bus which at this point I have turned it over TWICE!!!

I need to get the one in "The Camper" (yes that is it's name) cleaned,
and the one in "Slayer" is starting to make noise.

I used Foreign Speedo also to rebuild the unit in the '69 and they did a great job for less than their estimated costs. They reset mine to the same mileage as it was. (Whether or not that is the correct mileage in unknown...)

They will set the mileage to what ever you want. I don't know if you guys heard but I won the motor at BBB
Not having any idea if mine has ever turned over or not, I went the zero it out route.

After the speedo was restored it "rolled over" many months ago. Judging by many factors I assume it was the second roll over on that bus.

NEVER going to let that happen. Once you make it to BBB you are required to return every year you own a bus. Period. No questions asked. No argument.
