I need to have some seat frames and wheels sandblasted for my oval project. Anyone know of any good and reasonably priced places in San Diego?

Somewhere in our fourms there is a long list of places in San diego, but the search funtion does not work. I'll look some more for it before I type out all the places I know of.

Found it and I know it says powder coating, but these places sand or media blast too.

Dan, This co. does sand blast and powder coat. I'm sure they will do sand blast only. As far as reasonably price, well that i don't know.

How much paint do they have on them? My father-in-law has a sandblasting cabinet that should work. When do you need it done by?

No big rush but is his cabinet big enough for a bug rear seat?
Thanks,

There's a place down by 32nd street I had the rear hatch for my 63 blasted and primed at. Can't remember the name of the place but the guy said that the singer Jewel had her entire bus blasted there back in like 2003.

Don't know what the going rate is there but here there is a guy that will blast and powder coat all 4 of my rims for $300.

I know you asked about San Diego, but there is a place in Huntington Beach (not Primos, heard not to good reviews) that did my 4 wheels for $200.00 both blast & powder coated.

Bad reviews on Primo? Wow. I had an excellent job done on my bumpers and rims there.

dan,
I have a homemade sandblast set up. you buy the sand and you can come over and use it. its definitely cheaper than taking it to RW. they arent cheap.

Well, I had the bus stuff done at RW's and it was not cheap indeed. But, I am doing a '60 vert with rusty seat frames and wheels so I might hit you up on that offer.
Thanks.
