Alright! Was just wandering where your Dormobile top thread was and just found out it was this one in the classy ads. Will move it to "Restoration" then.

Anyway, we've talked about this before but I had the chance to take closer pictures of the one at Bulli Brigade. These show where the hinges actually rest right on the gutter, unlike mine. :???:

Yes, nice it would be! But I think it's "crunch time" between now and Havafew. Without much help I'm afraid the project cannot see completion in that time frame. :???:

I did do it starting the weekend before Thanksgiving and had it by Havafew! But the amount of work was serious, extremely time consuming and did also get at least some help to do some of it! So in other words, it can be done but you must be very ambitious and dedicate enough time to it! Not to mention having all the parts at the ready before taking the project on. Good luck!

I don't know if Ivan still has them but I kept all the measurements from my install. I'm still in the process. I still have to mount the hinges and the rods for the bellows. And install the glass. That glass is a PITA. I tried to do it myself but that was not happening. :???: Aaron from TS was a huge help. I think I spent an hour and a half on the phone with him just talking about the install and variances of tops.

So David if you need or want the measurements that I have let me know.

Indeed! I also needed help with them and thanks to Louis it only took us about an hour or so!

I cannot believe you can do them by your lonesome! :-o

Oh don't be mistaken, I did not get them done. I tried for over two hours by myself and they kept popping out as I went around. It seems as if the fiberglass is a bit warped but not really noticeable to the naked eye until you attempt to install the glass.
