Someone has contacted me to drive them at their wedding. It's at the beach in Carlsbad on the 19th of this month. They want me to drive them from the church to the beach for photo's then to the reception. Should take two to three hours and it pays $250. I would almost do it for free.........ok no i wouldn't but it sounds kinda fun.

Just remember to double you fee if they want you to drive them after the reception. :-& :smt078

Congratulations! That's fantastic! Would they have asked if you still had the BumpyBus?

That's cool..

Its a big deal over in the UK... The guys on the "other site" SBS post the wedding photos they do for $$$.

Some have even made a business out of it. I think it would be fun, especially if the Bride is on board for her DAY ... I know my wife wouldn't... [-X

Shweet!

Enjoy it!

BTDT and I always say, it's about time we start making money off our buses instead of having to put money into them! In the few gigs I've done, my Dormy has made about $2000. Sure beats a plaque for 1st place or some such!

Speaking of "over the pond", the guy in Belgium that currently owns my '67 standard sent me some lovely pics of my former bus all welded and painted and gussied up for a friend's wedding photo shoot. The bus was such a hit.

Are you gonna make them squeeze into the middle seat with a big poofy wedding dress or remove it and give them room to stretch out?

Maybe I should clarify.......remove the middle seat, not the wedding dress.

I don't know? :???:

They sent me a check last week and made all the arrangements. I got a email yesterday saying the wedding had been postponed and they would understand if I kept the money. Luckily I still had the check sitting on the counter so I distroyed it (karma).

No. They looked at the weather report and saw a "chance of rain" so they called it off! :smt005

I have spoken with this couple via email several times and this is what's up:

Wedding
June 16th Thursday
5:00 pm
Del Mar
About 1 mile distance from wedding to reception

They would like to have a couple Buses if possible but of course have a budget they are working with.

Anyone else interested?
