I'm not so old that I don't use Facebook. I'm on it daily, but I have a concern. We have a well-organized, functioning (most of the time) website here at http://www.sv2s.com with only a few people contributing to it. We're often encouraging our members and also people at shows to go to our website to read and to share info and stories and ???. Now, with this new option of using Facebook (so familiar to most people), will this bring our website to a screeching halt? I like our club site because I don't have to go all over the place to keep up with what's going on in and around the club. The categories help me focus on what I'm interested in.

What am I missing here? ](*,)

I don't worry about it at all, Tony. With the amount of action that goes on here, there's quite a lot less going on at FB. Just check the "statistics" there, I just did yesterday. They tell the story. If anything, there's a link to this site so those who are only or mostly facebookin can get here. ;-)

Many people do not use facebook for many reasons. It's not a matter of "knowing" how to use it. Its just a matter of how "facebook works"...This site is AWESOME...it is very intimate and not close nit group of knowledgeable people who are local in SD and So Cal. To me this site meets my needs living here in SD. This is a kickass site. The site alone made me want to join, visit the site daily (too much in fact according to the wife) and want to get back into the hobby/life style. The club is awesome in my mind...there is no replacement! IMHO
