I'm experiencing extremely slow login on issues to not being able to log in at all. The catch is that it's only on my home computer. I've ran a comprehensive virus scan with no positive results.
What happens is, when I select in my favorites the SV2's link I only get the banner then after a few minutes (1-3 min) I finally get the log in page but that's as far as it gets :???: . The other thing is that even if I open a new window I can't even get on the Internet.
If I open the Internet then open a new window and select the SV2's link, 1. It won't open and 2. I get disconnected from the Internet in any of the open windows :???:
When I visit any other website like TS or SBS it works fine, it's only when I visit the SV2's website.

Anyone else going through this now or have in the past?

maybe due to your computer trying to figure out what the site is. I mean you hardly come here so the computer thinks a virus has taken over. :???:

No seriously though no problems since I leave my session logged in.

I was on auto log in up until this issue started happening.
Now I can only log in here at work. That's the reason I haven't been able to post up the pictures.

Mine is well mine was lightning fast up until this crap started happening. It's only when I get on the SV2's site all other sites are fine. Thinking back, this started up after I "upgraded" to the newer Internet Explorer 8, hmm something fishy going on.

Thanks David I will give it a shot when I get home. I went ahead and removed Internet Explorer 8 and went back to 7 but I didn't have time to visit the SV2's site.

I have a few suggestions for you:

1. Try using this link as your bookmark, it will bypass all of Davids hard work but sometimes the home page can be a slow loader for me.
http://www.sv2s.com/community/index.php

2. Try a different browser Firefox this is what I use 95% of the time lots of "add ons" and spell check built in

3 Try a different browser Google Chrome I use this sometimes also. VERY fast but does have some issues with some sites. Its still in development and getting better. My wife loves this browser. When this browser gets all the "add-on" stuff going it will be my only browser.

4. DO NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER!!! :x

Though I'm using Firefox on the laptop now, I am using Exploder on both desktop dumbputers at home and at work. Still the sofa King! Image

I only use IE because the software I support requires it. It is the only reason why I use IE. Firefox.....

I use google chrome (cuz I like chrome) all the time. Like Lance said it is improving but it is fast.
