Sue, my thought was that we can't predict who will be there solely on who responds on the Forums. Sadly, there are members who don't use them. I was thinking we shouldn't decide on the gift exchange until we see who actually shows up. If there aren't enough people, we can enjoy our time together with a nice dinner before the holidays begin and save our exchange gifts for next year's get together.

I don't know if moving the party to the first Saturday made any difference, but I remember how everyone was so much in agreement in the past for the second Saturday due to the parade. Ah, times change....

See everyone Saturday.

Bring a gift, we are having a gift exchange. The Christmas Party may be small but then again all of our events have been small this year. It's just the new reality of SV2's. We are more of a small close knit group of VW friends then a large club.

As far as moving the date from the 2nd Saturday to the 1st Saturday that decision was made because Thanksgiving was late this year and therefore waiting until the second Saturday would put the date to close to Christmas. We didn't want the SV2's party to conflict with other family obligations members may have.

Looking forward to having a good time with those able to attend.

Sorry for the late chime-in, but Jana & I will be there. I've also heard from Evan that he and his wife, Kelli, will be there as well.

See ya'll Saturday! \:D/

My photos from my point and shoot camera (yes, I still use one of those!) were extremely dark. Did anyone else take photos to post here?

Along with Chris's remarks, thanks to Rob and Julie for all you did to make the Christmas party a success. Those who were there I'm sure had a good time and those who couldn't make it hopefully will try to join in next year. It was great seeing everyone.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
