Wish I could grab one of those sites but gotta go to OCTO to hunt down some metal for the 21 window project
Would encourage any fence sitters to go. Tristan and I went last year and it was a blast, mud caves, beer tasting (well not of him, too young), hot springs and of course excellent company.

Glad you're back on.

What a blast! Fun campout as always. Decent weather, other than the windy Saturday night. Outdoor kiddie pool was closed for construction, but the large outdoor pool was a little warmer than usual, at least on Saturday. Sunday, with a little cloud cover, was a bit cooler and so was the pool. Still managed to forget to pack some things. How long have I been doing this camping thing?!?! Adding to my growing list of "things to remember"...

Potluck was awesome! Good call, Julie, on taking a show of hands for who's bringing what. Didn't end up with 4 desserts and no mains. Did end up with two desserts, not counting s'mores, YUM!

Beer tasting was epic! Again, this year we had a down-right, foul-tasting beer that, even as the night progressed and we allowed the beer to "breathe" (or whatever the hell it needed), it was still foul. Nobody was a fan of the French Farmhouse Ale (aka Lightning Brewing's Electrostatic Ale.) This photo isn't exact correct. We swapped out the Idiot IPA for a Mother Earth Sin Tax Imperial Stout after we decided we had too many IPA's. I know, hard to believe I'd agree to that, but I'd had all the IPA's that were brought anyway, so I was OK with that decision! The Witch's Hair pumpkin ale was not well liked either. Too sweet, I thought. Like a dessert wine.

Most of the crew from Saturday morning's hike (missing is me & Julie, both snapping photos)

They are growing up WAY TOO FAST!

Little frog Dave found hopping around the camp site.

Yep, we had one on Sat. night for the beer tasting, I brought some eucalyptus
from home and Dave had a couple bags full!!

The drive home was nice, about 15 deg's cooler, made it real comfortable!!

We were talking about a spring camp out at Green Valley Falls!!!
Spring would be nice, more water!!

Thanks for the report!
Looks like a good time was had by all. I wish I could have made it out there to actually see Chris survive the hike
