Hey all, not technically a "Club" event, but Club members make up a good chunk of the turnout of this invitation only event. Due to its popularity and the organizers desire to keep it small and free of drunken idiot hooligan like behavior, anyone who wants to attend needs to contact me via my email or to PM me with their email and I can give you all the specifics. This is a great event at a superb facility and it is FREE!! Would love to see as many as possible of mw fellow SV2ers show up so please email or PM me ASAP so I can give you the specifics on time and date.

Just wanted to remind everyone that this event is for buses only. The campsite is hosting the event on the condition that it be bus only, so you cannot show up in a Dodge, a bug, or a Ghia. Split or Bay are welcomed.

Posted my reply on the Samba and sent my PM to Dan. I'm looking forward to finally making it to this event.

If it's not t0o late, I will take one shirt in size large.

I was going to go to the meeting to pump this event up, but got tired and stayed home (the curse of aging). Anyway, there are still spots open for Club members. Seriously, you guys do not want to miss this. It is a blast and at an ideal site.

KQ is coming up this Friday. Still haven't heard from a few people (Lance, David) and there are still spots available. T shirts are getting made up so if you haven't told Serg or posted your request you might be out of luck.

Haven't seen too much detail on this event in either forum. For us new comers, how does this work? Where and when do we meet up? Is the cruise they are talking about the cruise up there? How do the camping spots work? Take normal camping gear (i.e. tent, stoves, etc). I saw pics with teh buses circled, is that how we camp? Info appreciated.

Yes!

Just drive up to it. The second they see your bus, they'll let you in and/or take you right to the field set aside for camping. The "cruise" is on Saturday and it takes you up in them thar hills and such. Fun times with great views!
