And a full moon and clear skies! Sounds like a full moon hike is in order!

And how about some craft beer sampling? Everybody bring a couple bombers (22 oz bottles) (or growlers, if you're so inclined!) of some good craft beer and we'll have an impromptu tasting session. Most liquor stores and even some supermarkets have at least a couple good beers. Grab a favorite and an unknown and let's do this. Or grab two unknowns and we'll get craaaazzzzeeeee! What do you say?!

Who am I kidding?

I won't even show up.

Got to take care of the Dormy's issues. It's my most reliable vehicle and have been neglecting it far too much. :-/

But your idea seems like it could become a tradition!

That sounds like a terrific idea. Can't wait till Friday. I wonder if Mr. Coors Light (Chris Cross) will bring an oversized silver bullet.

Looks like the Dennis Family will be trailing you by about an hour. We plan to leave University City area about 12:30. See you at the camp site.

Just got back with Tristan from the campout, great time it was. Warm but no unsufferable weather during the day (high 80s), and warm nights: most of us sat around in flip flops, shorts and T shirts. Full moon that lit up the whole area like a night scene in an old Western movie. The spot was perfect, right by the pool and spa with a few shady spots. The cruise out to the mud caves was adventurous and full of drama. Naturally, a couple guys got stuck in the sand, there was a Western style stand off with some renegade drivers in a SUV but the caves were very cool. Saturday night was the bring a bomber beer tasting, which was a rousing success and provided hours of post drinking entertainment around the fire featuring master of ceremonies, Slayer. All in all a blast, will for sure try to make this next year. Thanks to Rob and Julie for organizing it!

You gotta try the Green Bullet--Tripple IPA!! The fumes alone would launch Ivan into convulsions.

Funny how everybody has different taste buds. This was the least liked of the the IPA/DIPA/TIPA's.... I concur with Dan; the Green Bullet was very tasty, but so was Friday night's pre-tasting AleSmith IPA!
