Yes still at 11am. Do not panic if the door is not open at 11 but most likely it will be open.

I'll try to be there but have to pick up a load of girl scout cookies at 9:45. It's that time of year again. We now have two girl scouts in the family so I need to sell twice as many cookies. Anyone want me to bring some with???

Cookies all unloaded and I'm about to leave. See you guys in about 48 minutes, according to the all-knowing Google.

Chris, OCTO is almost a month away! If you buy some now, you'll be ready to stock back up when OCTO rolls around. ;-)

The planning meeting was a success! We also had a new guy Bob from the OC chapter show up.

We have a lot planned for 2013, it should be a fun year. I do hope many of you will come out and enjoy the fun!!

Were the events written on a napkin or can someone actually post them here?

Sorry everyone. I tried to make the wife happy when I got home from the planning meeting by cleaning the garage. Then I had other things to do that evening and Sunday was spent paying my respects to my late father. It has been 2 years.

So here is the list of planned events and keep in mind that we will still have spur of the moment activities like bonfires and cruises.

So it breaks down to the following...

February - Single Cab Appreciation Day & Rally by pyrOman on the 2nd and William will be planning a Valentines Day brunch on 16th.
March - Heime will planning a cruise that will end in a pot luck. Date to be determined.
April - Rob and Julie will be planning a cruise (burger cruise) that will be on the 27th.
May - Chris will be organizing another "Work on your bus" day. Date to be determined.
June - Classic/OCTO/Blackstar weekend. William will hopefully make this event and hopes others will too to help promote Familienfest 19!
July - Sue will be planning the Lake Forest 4th of July parade. This is a great little event that allows you to celebrate the 4th with friends and still party at night! Last year there was a little cruise afterwards.
August - Familienfest 19!!
September - Larry will be planning a bonfire. Location and date to be determined.
October - Camping is in the works and is being planned by Chris.
November - David said he can do the Butterfield Thanksgiving campout again.
December - As usual our Christmas parade which will be held in the Orange County area.
January 2014 - Buses By The Bridge. Also our planning meeting.

So no napkin this time around. Everyone brought paper! The beer was good and so was the food but getting to meet a OC member and meet back up with the people I have not seen in a long time was great. I really do miss going to the monthly meetings.

We are now going to be sending out emails to everyone on upcoming events since there is no News Letter. So check your spam folders soon.

The OB Christmas Parade is also in December but with increasingly limited space for VWs.

Is there any news on where The Classic will be this year? One of my VW patients came in yesterday and said it wasn't at the Irvine Verizon Amphitheatre because of construction.

I stand corrected. The change is the host hotel not the Classic venue.

Bugorama Promotions

Pierside Parts Unlimited presents ...... The Classic June 9, 2013 in Irvine California @ The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Make your plans now.
