4) Rob - Welding up some cut outs on the rear bumper. I'll have the replacement metal cut and shaped so I just have to weld it in.

I should be there, too. I saw Chris this morning and we talked about doing a rear end lift on our bus butts. After 50 years they tend to sag. Then there are the buses...Anyway, anyone who knows how to do this would be welcomed to attend and give advice. We are thinking of having them tore down and ready to go on the day of.

count me out. Just realized that this is happening the same day that I have a 5k with the whole family (in-laws and everything). Maybe I could drop my bus off and someone else can work on it for me?

Sorry everyone.

Hope you folks have a great day for "Work on your bus day" We think so much of Chris we put your event on the LEAKOIL calendar, although I'm pretty sure none of us (regrettably) will make it to California. http://www.leakoil.net/wiki/index.php?t ... L_Calendar

We try to do something similar called "tune up day". Here's our last attempt. http://www.leakoil.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1950

Hope you folks have a great day and take plenty of pics so we can enjoy the experience from afar!

Sixvolt, looks like your tune-up day was at a real shop, my work day lacks some of the special equipment!! So we are limited!

Sounds like my "hot start" issue might just be a well deserved tune up, so I'll be sure to bring all the goodies to do a proper tune up.

Hmmm,....it looks like a submission to the monthly newsletter is brewing. That would be nice. Have a great day, Chris. It's a terrific event.

Remember to bring all the oil so it can changed in a day and not over the course of 3 weeks.

Yeah Shop day!!!! Rob will you have that oil change done by then? I plan on being there and will bring some tools and my welder. It doesn't sound like we will have access to an aircompressor so we more than likely not be able to do serious panel repair, but holes, and some other repairs shouldn't be a problem. See you guys at Chris' shop.
