Isn't the OB Parade on Dec. 3? The Events Calendar says the Christmas Party is December 10.

The SV2 event calender on the web site shows nothing on the 3rd of Dec about the OB Parade. Do we have more than one event calender floating around?

Upcoming events were posted in the Febuary newsletter, it does have the Xmas party scheduled for the 10th.
Are we changing the date? or can we do it on the 10th?

Newsletter Calendar Events was where I saw it. Sorry, Ken.
Our site calendar needs some updating.

There was a vote taken several years ago to establish the 2nd Saturday in December as THE date for the club Christmas Party so as not to deprive or cause undue stress trying to enjoy the OB parade. We've had much success by separating the party weekend from the parade weekend. I would hope we can continue that since everyone seemed relieved of the hassle. Perhaps it's not too late to change the reservation that has been made to the 2nd Saturday in December???

Please don't take it as a complaint but rather a point of information. The 2nd Saturday in December was established because the membership voted for it to be. I'm sure Ken just wasn't aware of it. Whether or not people participate is a separate issue. It's probable that those who wouldn't come on the 2nd Saturday probably wouldn't show up for either day.........I'm just sayin'.

Yes I know Tony. If they can't come they can't come. My thought was that if they complained because it changed weekends, they better show up. No sense in complaining if you're not going right?

True. Sadly, there are some who complain just for the sake of complaining.
I predict the usual good turnout as we have good people in this club. It's just sad that we don't often see a lot of them during the year.

So true. I enjoy this party since I don't get to see everyone. Now I have to start on my gift!

Which is this the correct address?

Their web site say's this ....
34664 Pacific Coast Highway, Dana Point, CA 92624

Google maps show the above address as the on/off ramp from 5. No businesses.

Google shows three places?
Two in Dana Point and one in Laguna Beach.

One of the links has this address.
34664 Pacific Coast Hwy Capistrano Beach, CA 92624

I'd like to go, but I don't want to be driving all over looking for the place in the dark.

I had the same issue when I went to reserve the spot. Here is Google maps.

So basically take the I5 to PCH and head toward the beach. Then take first "exit" and make a left onto Coast Highway. It will be on the left.

Thanks William. I was going to get back on this issue but I have been working since 1:00 am this morning

You will be heading to PCH from the 5 to Capistrano Beach. If you go straight without turning south on PCH you will end up at Doheny and the Dana Point Harbor. PCH is tiny right there, maybe only a two-lane road? Olamendi's is on the left, a little restaurant. If you get to the DMV you have gone too far.

yes it is just after the hotel, condo or whatever that is there. You can't miss it once you are on Coast Highway.
