Gee, I hope the shirts get done on time...

Just kidding, got them today! The "goody bags" are assembled, raffle crap organized (we got any
FF mugs left?). Just need to get sodas/water tomorrow, ice on the way up on Sunday. We've
got a sound system, paper works been printed and picked up, banners & signs done, the band will
be there around 10. Am I missing anything?

you da man P.A.

Dave - please wear normal male clothes. No female shorty shorts OK [-X

P.A. - I might have a way to get the SC to the show since I know we kind of need more buses in the show. Thanks though for the offer to be able to drive the spyder.

Dave, I'm sure we'd sell more tickets with you in some "Daisy Dukes" and a bikini top, and you'll have help with the ticket sales.
You mean I have to cover up? ... I was planning on a banana hammmock, net wife-beater and some casual pumps... oh well. See you there PA.

I'll see you at the La Paz Starbucks at 6:30!

Is there a meeting spot to head north from the la mesa / SD area? I'm down to caravan up there and help out as long as my newborn doesn't give me the business Saturday night.

Cleaning and scrubbing my squareback for that morning drive in the rain.
Do I need cardboard for the under-the-car in case of drips?
Anyone have two good OG hubcaps I can buy for the squareback tomorrow? I have mismatched ones.

BB 18 is a wrap, folks! I hope everyone had a good time. Great turnout! Semi-decent weather,
after the drizzle/rain stopped. 90+ cars is my guess, I'm sure William will chime in as to the exact
number. The Type 3 display was awesome, thanks again to SUEBUG for her Squareback.
Thanks to all of the volunteers, those who entered and all of you who came out to support
this show. As we wind down, we can all look forward to FAMFEST on August 20th, at Deer Park
Winery. Let's do it again next year!!! (maybe?)

Hey P.A. I believer the final "count" was 89 entries. There was one bus (mouse gray 15 window) that showed up and then left like 45 minutes later and I do not believe he paid. There was 16 tickets left (I believe that was the final count) out of 105. I am sure the weather killed some people's plans to come along with technical difficulties 8-[

Great show and thanks so much P.A. for all the hard work. Other than no mic, the raffle went well (thanks again Joe for the free pies, they were a hit).

Due to the weather though we did not sell very many shirts. So if you did not make it and would like a shirt, let me know and I will be happy to arrange payment and shipment of the shirts. I will double check what we have left but we should have S, M,L, XL,XXL and XXXL. Again I will double check the sizes. Get yours before I post them on the Samba.

Oh and we had 1 member that dropped out back in 2004 sign back up and a new member sign up at the show. We also have a couple of potential new members that might sign up.

Again a HUGE HUGE HUGE thanks to P.A.and ALL the volunteers.

almost forgot about Dave24 donating a VW Bus model to the raffle. People wanted to buy it and though I could have made $40 off of it, it would have been one less thing in the raffle and that is not why it was there.

Special thanks goes out to Jbugs too! They stuck it out with the rain and the wind the entire time!
