P.A., what time do I need the squareback there?

Preferably about 7:30 would be ideal. I'd like to make certain we have the
"showroom Type 3's" in as early as possible. All who are "volunteering" AND having your
VW in the show, obviously get to park first. These VW's we'll use as "anchors" to set up
each "line". Once these are placed, we'll begin "rackin' & stackin'". Primary concern is to
get Fred situated, John Albrecht is going to assist him, with others switching out for breaks.
Then having JBugs set up. We must keep in mind the band area, I'm not sure where Baker
will have them set up. The VW's will enter through the "back" gate again, no one comes in through the front, we'll need to start parking there quickly, to block it off. The "gate keepers"
will collect the entry fee's, then the entrants will be parked, then on to registration. William
will be heading up the financial end of things. This looks like we're going to have good weather,
and a really good turnout. I hope everybody is as pumped. We also need to make sure we have
club flyers, applications and flyers for FamFest. Anyone want to volunteer to wander around and sell
raffle tickets? I'm pretty sure everything is covered, the last things are the drinks (Saturday)
and the ice (Sunday morning).
REMEMBER KUSI ON SATURDAY MORNING!!! 6 AM AT 4575 VIEWRIDGE AVE 92123!!
The Syndicate is meeting at ABBY's BBQ on Wednesday, at 7 pm, if you'd like to join us and
go over the "Baker Plan", please feel free to show up, 9353 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. at Ruffin Rd.

Chance of Sue not driving down Sunday.

Fixed!

P.A., I'll do my best to arrive by 7:30 am from points north. It's downhill from the O.C., so I shouldn't have too much trouble...lol.

John will be traveling to the show, too. If I'm not mistaken, isn't Fred cooking? I can't speak for Ken, Sue, and Joe.

Suebug and the squareback will be there, rain or humidity. Dave, we can caravan for sure and see who else from the OC wants to be in Carlsbad by 7:30. We could meet at the La Paz Starbucks and head to the Oso Pkwy onramp to go south. Easy.

Tony, Sue and whoever else... 6:30 getting on the road at lapaz or wherever sounds good. I'd like to be a bit early, don't like tardiness, especially when there is setup/work to do. \:D/

Oh come on Sue, a little water never hurt those good old VWs. Speaking of which, do you need me to drive a bus for you? Looks like my SC will not be making it.

I am still trying to find a tire since the place I thought had them doesn't. Sorry but I am not paying an arm and a leg (gas stations already have that) for a tire just to make a show.

edit: I will be at the show but just without an air cooled VW.

Hmmm, too bad you're so far away, I might need a driver for the Spyder...

Tony and all, get there when you get there, I'm sure we'll be set up with no issues. I will have
coffee there this year, so last years malcontents should be happy. I might even bring a beer or
two to keep Ivan quiet (for a change)

Dave, I'm sure we'd sell more tickets with you in some "Daisy Dukes" and a bikini top, and you'll have help with the ticket sales.
