We’re having a BBQ at Tony’s house in Lakewood.

Contact your Chapter Rep to RSVP and for directions or any other info if needed. We’re cooking Tri-tip and chicken. :bbq2:

Bring something tasty to share and bring your beverage of choice. Festivities start at 1:00 pm.

Of course, feel free to RSVP here on the Forums. I'm on it often.
BTW, all members/ club friends are welcome

The Post Vets Day at Tony's was great.the cooking was excellent. the Cake I brought was a big hit. Christa's friend from Vietnam gave it to me as a gift so I brought it to share as the timing was right on. the Bakery is Pacific Bakery Santa Ana 1180S. Bristol #107 714-4343898. I will for sure shop with them.

It was terrific that you could make the BBQ. We're glad you could join us.

Yes, Joe, that cake was really quite good. In fact, I've been waiting for the Sheriffs to arrive any minute. Nothing that good could be legal!...lol

Thanks for the bakery info.

Mr. & Mrs. HBwesty had a great time at the BBQ. The TriTip and chicken where great. Johns chili was outstanding and Joe's cake, well as Tony said, "nothing that good could be legal". Thanks Tony and Peggy for having us all over

I'm really sorry I didn't make it.

Was at work Saturday and had to fix a major fender oil leak on the Bug Sunday. Yes, you heard it right, the fender left a big puddle of oil in the garage!

Sucked a valve cover gasket and the oil spewing soaked up the fender! :???:

Anyway, as it is often said "pictures or it didn't happen!"

Thanks to all of you who joined us for the BBQ. It was a totally enjoyable, relaxing afternoon. The weather was beautiful. Who would have thought we'd be sitting outside in the middle of November enjoying cold drinks and guacamole. The food we shared was delicious. In addition to the tri-tip and chicken wings that Peggy served, the chili was just spicy enough, those potatoes were superb, and the cake was sinful. The stories we threw around and the laughter we shared made for a fun-filled afternoon.

I can't wait for the next BBQ!
