Looking to get a rear apron for the SO42. Anyone got one laying around that they might be willing to let go?

If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea....does that mean that one out of five enjoys it?

I think Wolfsburg sells new ones.
Don't tell me you were driving that thing around in this heat with no apron! You can cook an engine that way.

what about a baja bug engine?

A Baja has air flowing all around it, The Body of a VW is supposed to seal the engine compartment only allowing fresh air in through the vents and the fan blows Hot air out the bottom.
Without the apron along with the other tin and a good rubber seal the exhaust heat and cylinder heat is brought back up into the engine compartment.

So Henry Lewis picked up the apron for me. I should have it in my hands on Saturday. I have the new rubber for it already so I just need to install it.
