It sure would be nice to have a bed in the back of my Bus without giving up the stock look. I've seen these brackets for a couple years now and wonder if anyone has any onfo on them?

I may or may not have an original pair of "Zee Brackets" which at one time were installed in The Shizz. My kids and I slept on the bed and it was super comfortable. I may or may not be willing to part with them for a reasonable price (to a club member who will actually camp with them).

Joe, I have that setup in my bus. You can check it out at the OB parade on Saturday.

Sorry Joe, but we are out for the OB parade. Having the kids stuck in the bus while its raining out waiting for the parade to start doesn't sound like fun. You can check out the bed some other time, maybe at a monthly meeting.

Thanks Rob,

All my passengers bailed because of the rain as well. Ended up going solo and didn't get any rain \:D/

The only thing to keep in mind about these "Z" beds is that I don't think they work if you've got a middle row. I could be wrong, but I know both Rob's bus and my bus have the Z-bed and no middle row.

Yep, Brooks is right, have to have at least a removable middle seat for the Zee brackets to do their thing. When they are in the "seat" position it's not a problem, but when you turn it into the "bed" the middle seat has to come out. I had the wing nut clamps on my middle seat, just left it at home when I camped.

unfasten middle seat, turn it 180 and move against bulkhead. more room to load more curtain climbers, rugrats or doggie for perimeter defense.
