calendar shows dates as actual dates. travel time is not on calendar. BBBXI shows friday, saturday and sunday, but we leave for lake havasu city on thursday morning. drive in/campout was scheduled for 17th of feb,but there is a "meet in the middle" campout on sunday the 18th feb. maybe something could be put on calender such as "travel day" or see___ date for campout departure /travel travel time in convoy. just a suggestion.

I don't think everybody is leaving on Thursday :? I didn't last year and probably will not this year. I'm sure this will all get covered at the next meeting.

and VOILA, here I am....at your service!
Bill, I believe I understand your suggestion. I think such info is so subject to change that it might be difficult for me to keep on top of without a report from someone at the chapter meeting. This hasn't been the practice. I usually pick up this info while reading the forums. If someone has this info, I would be glad to post it. I do see the need to inform those who don't go to the meetings of caravan departure times. Also, it might help others coming from different directions to coordinate some sort of rendezvous at some agreed upon location.

in this particular instance i went down the calendar looking at saturday only. sunday is listed as "meet in the middle" and i ,not thinking, told pyro-the 17th and 24th are open in feb. lets shoot for the 17th. if a note on the 17th said:note the 18th. i would not have made this mistake. this is part hudman missed. he does not leave on same day sometimes and we have 2 seperate convoys to some outings.

Sorry Bill a ver understandable dilema and bringing to my attention the SV2S Calender. I nver even look at it and I don't know why. Sorry Im sure there is lots of effort put into it.Tony are you the guy that needs the event info to be posted? A destination of camping for the Meet in the Middle has not been determined as yet but there will be people camping Fri and Sat in the area of the route to the Meet. Ventura Carpenteria or Santa Barbara area . When its determined I will get it on the calender. Soon.

Thanks for all your hard work, you guys. Though I tend towards sarcasm, I really mean it this time.

I will be glad to post any info on upcoming events. As you may know, only certain officers can post/edit the calendar to prevent unscrupulous "others" from encroaching on our website. I know how plans change as an event gets closer and I'm prepared to edit the details on the calendar as they change.
