I joined SV2's while at the SDIAS, and assume I'm an OC chapter member. So what now?... Monthly meetings?... events?... anything planned for the near future?. I planned for awhile to attend the phoenix club monthly, but it seems no one goes. I noticed no one has touched this thread for a few mo.s now. Can I help in getting some things planned for the near future?. How do I get a list of current OC SV2er's?. Dave

I have the list of the OC chapter people. Ken Weiss is your Chapter Rep.

I can't help you in what happens at the meeting so maybe someone will chime in here.

Oh and the next "event" is the planning meeting at my house this Sunday. Drive your bus!

Chris, I got the perfect spot for your bus....

You can park it at the airport down the road and we will put a clearance light on it for all the planes.

I actually would love to have all the parking in front of my house be all buses!

Dave,
As you know, the OC Chapter meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month. There may not have been many at the December meeting, but usually we have a "crowd" of about 12 who attend. We meet in the restaurant on the east side of the building and you'll usually see a few buses parked near the entrance (if we're lucky). Please plan to join us at the Feb. mtg. We begin showing up at around 6pm-ish.
Tony

I only have about 1.5 hrs to spare, I will need to leave by 3:30 if that's ok. We have people coming over to the house. And you live so far north you could almost be a member of the OC chapter!! he he he !

Well, so solly!

The quasi-official opening of the Classic WEEK has been at HDF's for way over 10 years so it's pretty much a given. Last year for whatever reason it took place at Eddie's & Dave's place though. You could have inquired about it either here in the deadsite's forums or at your chapter's meeting too. I know I asked if it was going to happen at Fred's or somewhere else but apparently I did through private message since I can't find it as a post. :???:

But FWIW, it was as cool a gathering as it always has been! Not to mention that I also got to fire up a vintage square belly stove!!! Thanks Fred!!!

Dave24, you weren't the only one. Memory of last year's event jogged by Joe's missed call yesterday on my way home from work. Too late to get a bus and fight traffic all the way back north to Eddy and Dave's in Orange. Would've been fun if we had been nudged with a post here.
