it has been asked about whats up in the o.c. we are still here . we have the chapter meeting every month and average 15 persons . but members are in other stages in life, such as they enjoy octo shows but camping is another matter. I have been a chapter rep for years and kept the club moving forward. planning events for o.c. members and such ,then took a board position for a few years. trying to find someone to be a rep or board member is a challenge. now as myself I have been pulling back due to the fact that we will be moving ( retiring from my job) . to northern California where I plan a coup making myself president, and declaring all meetings to be held in the town of Alturas. look that one up. so in short if all goes as hoped by july first we will be home. so thanks to all the friends I have made , the adventures we have had and the memories to enjoy. and if possible make an appearance at a show or two. best of to all john albrecht

Thanks, John, for all you've done for the club. Enjoy your retirement. Let's just say it took some "zooming out" to figure just where the hell Alturas was on the map!!

Does this mean you are going to sell the DC? You are going to need retirement money you know. LOL

Congratulations on the retirement. I really hope you have a wonderful time in Alturas. It is beautiful up there.

Wow, big news there, John! Sounds like a wonderful place to be after retirement. Your DC will be hit up there. Your involvement in the club has been stellar. Thankyouthankyouthankyou for all you have done. Hope to see you before you fly the OC coop.

Congrats!!

You know, a Single Cab has a much bigger bed than a DC. You could haul more stuff if you traded with me. I'd be willing to make that sacrifice for you!
